What services do you offer?
The main virtual assistant services I offer are on this page, but there are also some specific ways I can support neurodivergent people (ie, those with ADHD, Autistic people, dyslexia etc).
How do I use a virtual assistant?
It’s always good to start with the free 30 minute consultation that I offer. That gives you a chance to tell me what’s troubling you, and either you can tell me how I might be able to help, or I can offer up some ideas of how I can support you. We can either work together regularly, or as a one off. And you will have a choice to work with me in a specific time slot, or to send me a list of tasks which I will complete within the next 48 hours.
How much do you charge?
Check out my rates page here.
Do I have to make a regular commitment?
No, I work with people on a regular or one off basis. The advantage to making a regular booking is that I will reserve space to work with you in my diary, it can also help keep on top of things and as I get more familiar with your work I’ll be able to complete your tasks more efficiently. If we do work together regularly you are still able to cancel at any time, cancel specific time slots (when you are on holiday or unavailable for example). As long as you give more than 24 hours notice there is no charge for this.
Is there a minimum fee?
If you want to use my services I ask for a minimum of an hour’s fee (usually £30 per hour).
Can we meet in person?
Yes, we can. I live in Shirehampton which means I can reach most places in Bristol in 30 minutes, and Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Cardiff within an hour. I charge £15 per hour for my time spent travelling.
I’m not sure if you can do what I need?
Let’s chat! I offer a free 30 minute consultation. I’m transparent about the skills I do and don’t have, and will be upfront if you are asking for something I haven’t done or am less experienced in and you can make an informed decision if I’m the right person for you to work with.
Can I see references?
I’d be happy to offer you references, including from people who have worked with me in government. I’ve worked with personal data before in both government and in the non profit sector and take data protection and confidentiality very seriously.
What happens if I’m unhappy with the work?
First of all, please tell me! It's important to me that clients are satisfied, and if there has been a mistake with the work then I’m happy to rectify it at no cost to you. I also have professional indemnity insurance with Hiscox, and I can share those policy documents with you if you are interested.
